The BBC is a public service broadcaster. The BBC's remit is to inform, educate and entertain, which the Rethian values; the values that John Reith, the founder of the BBC, wanted to achieve. Now BBC is dominating the British entertainment/news as it has many categories such as radio and TV.

BBC 3 is slightly different to BBC one and BBC 2 they focus on a younger minority age group e.g teenagers. This news is presented in a slightly informal manner to make it appeal to the younger audience as well as making it entertaining Along side that BBC 3 are successful for their TV shows such as family guy which is really popular. They also present controversial news after watershed. Russell Howard is presenting his all new T.V series known as... " Russell Howard's Good News". This is a British comedy and topical news show. This show is hosted by non-other than Russell Howard himself where he offers commentary over weekly based news but, included guest appearances of famous celebrities as well as those who have been featured in the media recently. By watching his shows people can tell its from BBC 3 as he presents it in a slightly informal manner.
